Vanndar Stormpike 2

I want to share with you a little process of one of my recent illustrations for Heartstone - Vanndar Stormpike Tier 2

Part of this process has become something new for me. I usually do sketches right on the computer, but during the creation of this illustration, I decided to go back to the roots and make sketches on paper.

Once again, I realized for myself that it is much easier and more pleasant for me to draw various sketches on paper than on a computer. Pencil and paper make it easier for me to develop some ideas and keep my mind clear.

For painting, I used the technique of a greyscale base with the addition of color on Hard Light, followed by an overlay.
